The Rising of the Shield Hero

An anime in the Isekai genre. The hero Naofumi is transported to another world as one of four cardinal heroes: Sword, Spear, Bow, and Shield (Naofumi). Vincenzo Episodes 2-10

A rollercoaster of over-the-top silliness, action, drama, violence (viewer discretion advised), and of course, more of Song Joong-ki in a suit, and random moments of Taec-yeon‘s impeccable English. Vincenzo Episode 1

Starts with a (literal) fire in Italy. Then, humor, action and drama in Seoul. Should you watch it? Well, it’s Song Joong-ki in a suit. Of course you should.

Lovestruck in the City

A romance that starts light and breezy, then gets heavy. Along the way, we get great shots of the ocean and the city. Watch it? Yes.

Alice in Borderland

Good actors. Gory. Intense. Battle Royale-ish. Watchable? Yes. Re-watchable? Maybe for some. Blerp Rating: 4/5.

K2 Review
